Job Description

We are seeking skilled Underground Mining Machine Operators to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our mining machinery. The ideal candidate will possess practical experience in underground mining operations and a commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in the operation of underground mining machinery.
• Ensure compliance with all workplace health and safety regulations.
• Maintain the integrity of mining structures and machinery.
• Work closely with supervisors and other operators to optimize mining processes.
• Supervise the loading and hauling processes to ensure efficiency.
• Implement safe work practices and assist in training new operators.
• Prepare reports on equipment operations and maintenance.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency.
• Assist with the coordination of equipment and material deliveries.
• Participate in emergency response drills and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Mining Engineering or a related field is advantageous

Experience

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in underground mining operations

Languages
