Job Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and enhance GIS projects to meet organizational goals.
  • Collect and analyze geospatial data for various applications.
  • Utilize GIS software like ArcGIS, QGIS for mapping and analysis.
  • Generate high-quality visual representations of geographical data.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Assist in the integration of GIS with existing data systems.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams on GIS methodologies.
  • Stay informed on best practices and emerging trends in geospatial technology.
  • Ensure compliance with data standards and policies.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on GIS tools and applications.
Job Requirements
  • Degree in GIS, geography, computer science or related field
  • Industry certifications such as GISP or ESRI Technical Certification are highly desirable
  • ArcGIS Expert in using ArcGIS for mapping and spatial analysis.
  • QGIS Advanced skills in QGIS for geographic data manipulation.
  • Data Visualization Skilled in creating impactful data visualizations.
  • Analytical Thinking Exceptional analytical skills for problem-solving.
  • Communication Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Team Collaboration Effective in working as part of a diverse team.
  • GIS Professional (GISP)
  • ESRI Technical Certification
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Experience in database management: Familiarity with data analytics or data science processes.
