Composition Roofer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Composition Roofer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and repairing composition roofs on residential and commercial buildings, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Excellent attention to detail is a must.

Responsibilities

• Execute installations and repairs with attention to detail and quality.
• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with building codes.
• Assist in inventory management of roofing supplies and materials.
• Provide feedback and input on project planning and execution.
• Actively participate in professional development opportunities.
• Troubleshoot roofing issues and develop solutions.
• Work with a variety of roofing materials, including tiles and metal, as required.

Requirements

Education

• Vocational training or similar qualification in roofing

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years experience in roofing roles

Technical Skills

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Experience with power tools

Soft Skills

• Time management
• Teamwork

Certifications

• WorkSafe certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in waterproofing techniques: Skills in methods that ensure roofs are waterproof.
• Project management experience: Ability to handle larger roofing projects to completion.
