You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, while also focusing on maximising resource extraction and minimising waste.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments and inspections regularly.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for mining operations.
• Develop and implement strategies for sustainable mining practices.
• Monitor production metrics and optimize performance.
• Participate in emergency response planning and drills.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or similar field
• Master’s degree preferred

Experience

• At least 5 years of mining engineering experience

Technical Skills

• Mine Planning Software
• Geotechnical Analysis

Soft Skills

• Strong Communication Skills
• Leadership Skills

Certifications

• Registered Professional Engineer (RPEQ)
• Certificate in Mine Safety Management

Languages

• English: Fluent
