Responsibilities

  • Design urban spaces and public infrastructure that promote accessibility and sustainability.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform urban development strategies.
  • Work closely with city officials, developers, and community members to align planning initiatives.
  • Prepare proposals for funding and grants to support urban development projects.
  • Ensure project documentation is maintained accurately throughout the planning process.
  • Respond to inquiries from the public regarding urban development proposals.
  • Provide expert advice on zoning regulations and land use policies.
  • Facilitate workshops and seminars to educate the community on urban planning trends.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Geography, or related field
  • Master's degree in Urban Planning is highly desirable
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in urban planning or community development
