Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Railroad Brake, Signal, and Switch Operator to ensure the safe and efficient operation of freight vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for coupling and decoupling brake systems and maintaining and inspecting the brakes.

Responsibilities

• Conducting regular maintenance checks on all brake and signal systems.
• Ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly and safely.
• Reporting any issues to the Operations Manager immediately.
• Working with the transport team to optimize freight loading procedures.
• Complying with all safety regulations and industry standards.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Technical qualifications in logistics or transport are preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced transport environment.

Technical Skills

• Electronic Brake Systems Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Adaptability

Certifications

• Heavy Vehicle Driver’s License

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge in Vehicle Maintenance: Experience with routine vehicle maintenance protocols.
