Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Lathe and Turning Machine Tool Setter to operate and maintain our advanced machinery. The ideal candidate will have experience in precision machining, ensuring high-quality production standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC lathes and manual lathes in a production setting.
- Perform quality checks using gauges and inspection tools.
- Adjust machine settings as required to maintain production standards.
- Report any discrepancies or defects to the supervisor promptly.
- Contribute to team meetings to discuss production goals and challenges.
- Assist in stock control and inventory management of materials.
Advantageous
- Ability to operate additional machinery: Proficiency in operating milling machines or grinders is a plus.
- Experience in a high-volume production environment: Background in working with fast-paced manufacturing processes.
