Job Description

The Swage Tender will be responsible for setting up and operating swaging machines to produce finished products according to specifications. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of machine operation and safety protocols, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor swaging machines throughout the production cycle
  • Ensure that all operations are carried out in line with safety standards
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors about production progress
  • Utilize measuring tools to ensure product specifications are met
  • Document relevant production statistics for analysis
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for production efficiency
  • Assist in training new employees in machine operations and safety protocols
  • Conduct end-of-shift machine inspections and report malfunctions
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations in the workplace
  • Help maintain stock levels of raw materials required for production

Requirements

Education
  • Experience with swaging machines preferred
Experience
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous
