Job Description

As a Fabric and Apparel Patternmaker, you will be responsible for designing and crafting precise sail lay-outs according to technical specifications. You will work hand-in-hand with our experienced team, using top-notch materials and tools to create efficient sailing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patterns and templates for sail production.
• Work with CAD software to design sail patterns.
• Measure and mark sailcloth accurately for cutting.
• Assist in fitting trials and modifications of sails.
• Conduct regular maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Document and maintain records of production processes and changes.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to meet deadlines.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in textiles or related fields is preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in marine textiles or sailmaking.

Technical Skills

• Fabric Handling

Certifications

• Marine Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
