Geochemical Manager

Job Description

The Geochemical Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing geochemical exploration plans and managing investigations to support extraction operations. This role emphasizes collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and requires strong analytical skills and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sample collection, analysis, and interpretation of geochemical data.
• Train and mentor junior geochemists and exploration team members.
• Stay updated with industry developments and advancements in geochemical analysis.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and environmental protection protocols.
• Engage with external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and community groups.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geochemistry, Geology, Chemistry, or related field

Experience

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in geochemical exploration and analysis

Technical Skills

• Advanced knowledge of geochemical techniques and methodologies
• Proficiency in GIS software (e.g. ArcGIS, QGIS)
• Strong analytical skills
