Job Description

The Mud Mixer Operator is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of mud mixing equipment used in the oil and gas industry. This role is critical for ensuring the quality of drilling fluids that support safe and efficient drilling operations. Ideal candidates will possess strong mechanical skills and the ability to work in high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain mud mixing equipment on-site.
• Monitor mud density, viscosity, and pH levels.
• Perform routine maintenance on mud mixing machinery.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and repair equipment issues.
• Document operational parameters and maintenance schedules.
• Train less experienced operators on safety and operational protocols.
• Work closely with the drilling team to ensure optimal mud performance.
• Ensure that mud mixing activities comply with industry standards.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in mud mixing operations preferred.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of drilling fluids
• Operational software use

• Analytical skills
• Time management

Languages

• English: Fluent
