Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mental Health Clinician to join our team in Wollongong. You will play a crucial role in providing therapeutic support and guidance to clients experiencing mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will have experience in clinical assessment, intervention, and crisis management, demonstrating empathy and a commitment to client-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of clients' mental health needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment as necessary.
  • Facilitate crisis intervention and support during acute episodes.
  • Actively engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progression.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of client sessions and interventions.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Mental Health preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in mental health clinical practice
