Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Synthetic Biology Researcher with a PhD in Synthetic Biology, Molecular Biology or related fields. This role will involve conducting innovative research, designing experiments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to advance the field of synthetic biology.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize genetic circuits and pathways using synthetic biology techniques.
  • Perform experiments using molecular biology techniques such as PCR and gel electrophoresis.
  • Maintain and operate laboratory equipment and instruments.
  • Collaborate closely with other team members for project planning and execution.
  • Document and manage experimental processes within the laboratory.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for new research initiatives.
  • Write manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Ensure all laboratory activities comply with ethical standards and regulations.
  • Assist with grant applications and funding proposals.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and scientific inquiry within the team.

Requirements

Education
  • PhD in Synthetic Biology, Molecular Biology, or Biochemistry
Experience
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of postdoctoral or industry experience in synthetic biology research.
