Job Description

As an Icebox Worker, you will play a crucial role in managing frozen goods within our storage facility. Your primary tasks will include receiving, inspecting, and storing frozen products while ensuring that all items remain in optimal conditions. A keen attention to detail is essential, as you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming and outgoing frozen goods for quality and safety.
  • Organize storage areas to facilitate easy access and retrieval.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy.
  • Prepare frozen goods for dispatch in line with customer orders.
  • Monitor temperature controls to ensure product integrity.
  • Collaborate with logistics staff to improve operations.
  • Actively participate in health and safety training sessions.
  • Keep records of stock movements and report discrepancies.
  • Assist in training new employees on proper procedures.
  • Perform other duties as required by the supervisor.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in workplace health and safety practices is desirable
Experience
  • 1-2 years in cold storage or frozen goods environment preferred
