Job Description

As a Coreroom Foundry Laborer, you will play a crucial role in assisting with various tasks in our foundry environment, contributing to the production of high-quality metal castings. This role involves preparing mould boxes, lifting heavy materials, operating machinery, and ensuring a clean and safe workspace.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare moulds and materials for metal casting.
• Handle heavy equipment and materials safely.
• Utilise machinery for metal processing and casting.
• Monitor casting processes to ensure quality and safety.
• Remove castings and ensure they are properly cleaned.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace.
• Collaborate with team members for efficient production.
• Report any machinery malfunctions or safety hazards.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Education

• Completion of relevant training or certifications is preferred.
