Job Description

We are on the lookout for skilled Printing Press Operators to join our vibrant team. As a Printing Press Operator, you'll be crucial in managing and operating our advanced printing equipment. Your role will include setting up presses, monitoring production runs, and ensuring the highest quality standards of printed materials.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire printing process from setup to production.
• Ensure all materials used are of the highest quality and comply with industry standards.
• Work with design teams to understand print specifications.
• Evaluate and implement improvements to the printing process for efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and health regulations in the print shop.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules for printing equipment.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Associate's degree in printing technology or related field is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a commercial printing environment

Technical Skills

• Press Setup and Adjustment
• Ink Mixing and Color Matching

Soft Skills

• Problem Solving
• Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Graphic Design Skills: Ability to create layouts and prepare files for print production.
• Familiarity with bindery and finishing processes: Knowledge of post-print production processes such as cutting and binding.
