Job Description

As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our assets and ensuring the safety of our employees and customers. This position requires someone who is proactive in identifying potential risks and adept at implementing effective loss prevention strategies. Your expertise will help cultivate a secure environment while collaborating with various departments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform regular patrols to deter and detect criminal activity.
  • Assess and resolve security system malfunctions promptly.
  • Conduct investigations into loss incidents and prepare reports for management.
  • Engage with employees to foster a culture of security awareness.
  • Utilise CCTV and other security technologies effectively.
  • Assist law enforcement during investigations of theft or fraud.
  • Work with management to enhance existing loss prevention protocols.
  • Prepare and submit recommendations for improving security measures.
  • Participate in security audits and compliance checks.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Additional certification in security or related fields is an advantage
Experience
  • Experience working with security technologies and loss prevention strategies
