Job Description

We are looking for a Database Architect who is skilled at designing, developing, and managing databases to ensure optimal performance and availability. You will work closely with our development teams to create robust database solutions that support our applications and services.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and maintain database solutions tailored to business needs.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and adherence to compliance standards.
• Work with development teams to establish database connectivity and support application development.
• Analyze and design data models to enhance system performance and efficiency.
• Utilize database management systems like Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL effectively.
• Train and support junior database staff and other IT professionals in database principles.
• Perform capacity planning and forecasting to ensure database scalability.
• Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for end-users regarding database issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Relevant industry certifications are advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in database architecture or engineering

• AWS Certified Database Specialty

Languages
