Getter Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Getter Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out various welding tasks in a fast-paced environment and ensuring that all work meets the required standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct welding operations using MIG, TIG, and Stick methods.
• Review project specifications and quality standards with the team.
• Maintain detailed records of welding operations and materials used.
• Identify and troubleshoot welding problems as they arise.
• Work in compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Assist in the development of new processes to improve efficiency.
• Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions.
• Perform quality inspections on welds to ensure required standards are met.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Welding) or equivalent
• Valid welding certification from a recognised body

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of professional welding experience
