Job Description

As a Rock Splitter, you will play a crucial role in our quarry operations. Your responsibilities will include drilling holes and using plug and feather techniques to split rock for various purposes. This physically demanding position requires stamina, strength, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Utilize drilling machinery to break ground and produce material.
• Insert plugs and feathers and assist in rock splitting.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Provide feedback to supervisors regarding equipment functionality.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss goals and challenges.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
• Assist with loading and transporting materials as required.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications necessary, training will be provided.

Experience

• Any hands-on experience in construction or quarry work is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Hand-held Drill Experience
• Blueprint Interpretation

Languages
