Car Loader

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Car Loader to join our team. The role involves loading and unloading cars onto trailers for transportation. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, possess a strong work ethic, and be able to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Actively load and unload vehicles to and from transport trucks.
• Perform safety checks and maintenance on vehicles and trailers.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulations.
• Contribute to team efforts by assisting others when needed.
• Maintain accurate records of loaded vehicles.
• Help train new staff in loading procedures and safety.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements

Education

• Completion of high school education or equivalent
• Vocational training or certifications in logistics

Experience

• At least 1-2 years of experience in logistics or warehouse operations

Technical Skills

• Safe manual handling practices
• Warehouse management systems

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Effective communication

Certifications

• Forklift operator license
• Training in loading and unloading techniques preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Current Heavy Rigid (HR) or Heavy Combination (HC) license: Possession of a valid HR or HC license is an advantage.
• Ability to work various shifts: Flexibility to work early mornings or late evenings is preferred.
