We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our Brisbane practice. In this role, you will provide comprehensive care to a variety of animal patients, ensuring their health and well-being through expert diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic tests, including blood work and imaging.
• Manage chronic and acute animal health conditions.
• Supervise and mentor junior veterinary staff and interns.
• Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication.
• Conduct follow-up visits to monitor animal recovery.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and standards.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care.
• Collaborate with the wider veterinary community for referrals.
• Contribute to research and development of treatment protocols.
• Ensure the clinic's resource management is efficient.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc)
• Membership or Fellowship in a veterinary college is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a mixed animal practice
