Job Description

We are seeking a Lens and Frames Prescription Clerk who will play a vital role in assisting customers with selecting, fitting, and adjusting frames. This position also involves processing and efficiently filling prescription orders, with a strong emphasis on excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers to determine their eyewear needs and preferences.
• Perform adjustments to frames to ensure comfort and usability.
• Complete accurate order processing for lenses and frames.
• Keep track of inventory and order supplies as necessary.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist in promoting new products and services.
• Provide education on proper eyewear care.
• Maintain a professional and welcoming environment.
• Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate degree in opticianry or optical technology is preferred

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in optical retail or healthcare industry

Certifications

• Certified Optical Technician (COT)

Languages
