Canned Food Reconditioning Inspector

Job Description

As a Canned Food Reconditioning Inspector, you will ensure that all returned canned products are inspected and evaluated for suitability for reconditioning and resale. Your keen attention to detail and knowledge of food safety regulations will be critical in maintaining product quality.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the quality of canned food products returned by customers.
• Implement corrective actions when defects are identified.
• Coordinate with the logistics team to manage returned items.
• Document inspection results and communicate findings to management.
• Participate in training sessions on food safety and quality control.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field
• Certification in HACCP and food safety regulations

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in food manufacturing and production, particularly in quality control.
