Job Description

As a Medical Equipment Repairer, you will provide vital maintenance, repair, and installation services for radiology equipment in healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various medical devices, ensuring they function safely and effectively in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine servicing on a variety of radiology equipment.
• Fix and resolve technical issues with medical devices swiftly.
• Set up new diagnostic equipment and ensure correct operation.
• Work closely with medical staff for efficient equipment usage.
• Keep detailed logs of equipment maintenance and services.
• Update your knowledge on regulatory requirements and safety procedures.
• Assist in training staff on equipment usage and safety.
• Participate in team meetings to enhance service delivery.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field
• Certificate in Medical Equipment Maintenance is preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience with radiology equipment

Technical Skills

• Experience with PACS systems
• Knowledge of safety procedures

Soft Skills

• Customer service orientation
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Electrical Safety Certification
• AS/NZS 3760 - In-service safety inspection and testing of electrical equipment

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with imaging software: Hands-on experience with diagnostic imaging software applications.
