Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our team in Bendigo. This role involves ensuring safe and effective medication management for our patients. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in advising patients on prescription medications and health management, as well as contributing to the overall success of our pharmacy.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Contribute to professional development and training of pharmacy staff.
  • Facilitate drug utilization review processes.
  • Engage with local healthcare teams to promote collaborative practice.
  • Participate in pharmacy audits and inspections.
  • Support disease prevention programs and community outreach efforts.
  • Advise on regulatory compliance and safe storage of medications.
  • Manage pharmaceutical care plans for patients with chronic conditions.
  • Enhance patient understanding of their therapy through effective communication.
  • Utilize pharmacy software for management of prescriptions and inventory.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
  • Postgraduate qualifications are advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in clinical pharmacy
