Bartender

Job Description

We’re on the lookout for a skilled Bartender to join our team! You’ll be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, managing inventory, and providing top-notch service to our customers. If you have a passion for mixology and a knack for creating a welcoming atmosphere, we want you!

Responsibilities

• Mix and serve drinks according to bar standards and recipes.
• Ensure a high level of cleanliness in the bar area.
• Assist in promotional events and marketing strategies.
• Engage with customers to create a memorable experience.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide product recommendations.
• Monitor the use of alcohol and assist in training regarding responsible service.
• Contribute to team meetings to improve service quality and bar operations.

Requirements

Education

• Valid RSA certification
• Certificate IV in Hospitality or similar is advantageous

Experience

• At least 3 years of bartending experience in a fast-paced environment

Advantageous

• Second Language Skills: Ability to speak a second language fluently is a plus.
• Experience in Social Media Marketing: Knowledge in promoting bar events through social media platforms.
