We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Bendigo. This role entails providing high-quality medical care to a variety of animals, conducting surgical procedures, and collaborating closely with our team to ensure the health and well-being of our patients. Responsibilities

  • Assess animal health through physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
  • Perform surgical procedures and manage postoperative follow-ups.
  • Educate clients on animal health and preventive care practices.
  • Supervise the veterinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain compliance with all health regulations and ethical standards.
  • Document all patient information in the medical database.
  • Assist in training new veterinary staff and interns.
  • Liaise with specialists for advanced care when necessary.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science or equivalent
  • Postgraduate qualifications in veterinary medicine is preferred
Experience
  • 4+ years of clinical experience in a veterinary setting
