We are currently seeking a dedicated and driven Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team in Ballarat. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of nursing best practices and demonstrate a commitment to patient care and safety. Your role will involve direct interaction with patients, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care needs.
• Maintain and administer medication charts and patient records.
• Support patients through all aspects of their care.
• Collaborate with nurses and hospital departments to coordinate care.
• Keep up-to-date with best practices in nursing.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
• Assist in the supervision and training of junior nursing staff.
• Complete all necessary documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
• Manage patient care needs with compassion and professionalism.
• Ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's in Nursing or equivalent
• Specialization in pediatric or geriatric nursing is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of nursing experience in hospital settings
