Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and driven Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team in Ballarat. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of nursing best practices and demonstrate a commitment to patient care and safety. Your role will involve direct interaction with patients, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent nursing care to patients in a variety of settings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and record patients' vital signs and medical histories.
• Collaborate with doctors and healthcare professionals to create effective care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and care needs.
• Conduct assessments to identify patients’ needs and create a plan for care.
• Assist with diagnostic tests and laboratory work.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of care provided.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide first aid as necessary.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Current nursing registration with AHPRA

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
