Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain power lines, poles, and related equipment.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed while climbing poles and working at heights.
  • Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to achieve project objectives.
  • Document work performed and report on any issues encountered.
  • Participate in emergency response activities as needed.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior team members.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices.
  • Assist in planning work schedules and resource allocation.
  • Develop and implement safety measures to minimise risks.

Requirements

Education
  • Completion of a relevant electrical trade apprenticeship
  • Valid Lineworker license/certification
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Lineman in a similar role
