Job Description

The Service Worker Helper will play a crucial role in assisting our Service Worker in performing essential maintenance and repair services for numerous facilities and equipment. This position requires a dedication to physical work, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Service Worker in executing maintenance schedules.
  • Conduct basic repairs on facilities and equipment.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
  • Assist in the setup and dismantling of equipment.
  • Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance on tools.
  • Coordinate with other staff to ensure timely completion of jobs.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities.
  • Assist in training new staff members.
  • Use power tools safely and effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certificate in facilities maintenance is preferred
Experience
  • Some experience in facilities maintenance or production work is advantageous
Technical Skills
  • Heavy machinery operation
