Job Description

As a Mental Health Nurse at Healthcare Services Group, you will provide essential care to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments on admission and ongoing.
  • Evaluate patient care plans regularly and adjust as needed.
  • Administer prescribed psychiatric medications and monitor effects.
  • Support patients through therapeutic approaches and interventions.
  • Document detailed patient care notes and reports.
  • Engage patients in recovery-oriented practices.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals in treatment planning.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff as needed.
  • Participate in community outreach and education programs.
  • Promote mental health awareness and stigma reduction.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Psychiatric Nursing Certification is a plus
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in mental health settings preferred
