Job Description

We're seeking a talented Certified Art Therapist who understands the therapeutic benefits of art and can assist clients through self-expression. Your role will involve conducting sessions, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate art therapy sessions focusing on emotional healing, using various art mediums.
  • Evaluate client progress and adapt therapeutic approaches as needed.
  • Work in collaboration with psychologists and other therapists.
  • Develop creative interventions tailored to the unique needs of clients.
  • Document and report on the effectiveness of therapy activities.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss client outcomes and treatment strategies.
  • Provide a safe, non-judgmental environment for self-expression.
  • Educate clients about the therapeutic benefits of art.
  • Contribute to the promotion and expansion of art therapy initiatives.
  • Uphold professional standards and ethics in all interactions.

Requirements

Education
  • Certification in Art Therapy from a recognised institution
  • Membership with a relevant professional association
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in art therapy, preferably in a clinical setting
