Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Annealing Torch Operator to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will operate specialized equipment for heat treating metals, monitoring processes to ensure quality standards are met. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our metal products.

Responsibilities

  • Setup and calibrate annealing equipment prior to operation.
  • Conduct periodic inspections of equipment for maintenance needs.
  • Keep a detailed log of equipment performance and anomalies.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent quality and production targets.
  • Implement corrective actions as necessary to rectify process deviations.
  • Engage in safety meetings and training sessions to promote workplace safety.
  • Provide feedback on equipment and process improvements to management.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking/Welding) or equivalent
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Annealing Torch Operator or in a related role.
