We're on the lookout for a skilled Aerospace Engineer to join our team in Launceston. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, testing, and producing aircraft and spacecraft systems. Your expertise will contribute to innovative aerospace projects, ensuring high safety and performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Work on the development of prototypes and simulations for aerospace projects.
• Lead design reviews and assessments throughout project lifecycles.
• Implement innovative engineering solutions to improve efficiency.
• Conduct research to improve aircraft performance and design.
• Support project management efforts through scheduling and resource estimation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in aerospace and systems engineering

Technical Skills

• Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
• Design Optimization Techniques

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Leadership

Certifications

• Certified Aerospace Engineer (CAE)
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
