Perforating Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled perforating machine operator to join our team in Adelaide. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in operating and maintaining perforating machines in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Flexibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety are paramount in this role.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain state-of-the-art perforating machines.
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.
• Identify and fix machine breakdowns to ensure continuous operation.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production changes and improvements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with health and safety guidelines.
• Assist in training new team members on machine operations.
• Collaborate with maintenance technicians for major repairs.
• Document any issues or irregularities in production.
• Adhere to all company policies and regulations regarding quality and safety.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in mechanical operations would be advantageous

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally with perforating machines.
