We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our Bendigo office. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our organisation adheres to all regulatory requirements, managing compliance programs, and providing guidance to staff on compliance-related matters. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of compliance protocols.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the effectiveness of compliance programs.
• Engage with stakeholders to assess compliance risks.
• Lead compliance audits and recommend improvements.
• Support the Compliance Manager in strategic planning.
• Liaise with external legal and compliance experts as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required
• Postgraduate qualifications in Compliance or Risk Management are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the compliance sector
