Job Description

The Hoisting Engineer is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment used to lift and move heavy objects. This includes cranes, hoists, and various machinery used in construction and industrial settings. The ideal candidate should have excellent mechanical skills and a strong commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy equipment for lifting materials and machinery.
  • Ensure all maintenance procedures are followed and documented.
  • Collaborate with other construction team members to meet project timelines.
  • Conduct pre-operation checks to confirm equipment is in good working order.
  • Evaluate safety protocols and modify practices accordingly.
  • Assist in training new staff on equipment operation and safety.
  • Engage in professional development to advance skills in hoisting engineering.

Requirements

Education
  • High Risk Work Licence for operating cranes (classes C2, C6, and CO)
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a hoisting engineer or similar role.
