We are seeking an experienced Forensic Meteorologist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a solid background in meteorology and its impact on legal cases. You will collaborate closely with legal professionals to provide expert opinions, reports, and testimonies in weather-related cases.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with legal teams to establish the context of weather conditions for ongoing cases.
• Utilise advanced meteorological software tools for accurate data analysis.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for all meteorological assessments.
• Respond to queries from clients regarding weather and environmental assessments.
• Contribute to research efforts aimed at improving forecasting techniques.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Meteorology, Environmental Science, or related field
• Postgraduate qualification in Meteorology or relevant field (advantageous)

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in forensic meteorology with a focus on legal applications
