Job Description

As a Spectrograph Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining spectrographs used for analyzing and measuring the properties of various materials. This role requires attention to detail and a solid understanding of spectroscopic techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Calibrate and troubleshoot spectrographic equipment.
  • Analyze spectral data and prepare detailed reports.
  • Collaborate with research teams to optimize experimental setups.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on laboratory equipment.
  • Ensure laboratory compliance with safety standards.
  • Participate in research and development activities.
  • Document all findings and maintain laboratory records.
  • Provide technical support to team members.
  • Train junior staff in spectroscopic techniques.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in analytical chemistry or related field
  • Master's degree in relevant field is preferred
Experience
  • Experience with specific spectrographs (e.g., UV-Vis, IR, Raman) is an advantage.
