Job Description

As a Meteorological Technician, you will play a pivotal role in gathering, analysing, and reporting on weather data and forecasts. You will work closely with meteorologists to provide accurate and timely weather information to various audiences.

Responsibilities

• Gather and interpret meteorological data for analysis.
• Conduct equipment maintenance and calibration for accurate readings.
• Assist in preparing weather forecasts and communicating findings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including climatologists and environmental scientists.
• Prepare and present summaries of weather data for stakeholder review.
• Engage in continuous learning regarding meteorological tools and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Meteorology or Environmental Science

Experience

• 2-3 years in meteorological data collection and analysis
