Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Environmental Scientist to join our team in Ballarat. In this role, you will conduct field studies, develop environmental reports, and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of ecological principles and a desire to contribute to sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute environmental research projects.
• Offer expert advice on sustainable resource management.
• Prepare and present findings to stakeholders, including government entities and NGOs.
• Develop community outreach and education programs on environmental protection.
• Support the developing of policies aimed at improving environmental quality.
• Stay current with new laws and regulations affecting the environmental sector.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Policy or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental science or a related field
