We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Environmental Scientist to join our team in Ballarat. In this role, you will conduct field studies, develop environmental reports, and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of ecological principles and a desire to contribute to sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

• Assess environmental restoration and rehabilitation projects.
• Conduct field studies on biodiversity and habitat conservation.
• Analyze and interpret scientific data related to environmental health.
• Prepare technical documents for public viewing and stakeholder engagement.
• Monitor compliance with environmental policies and regulations.
• Advise on best practices for waste management and pollution control.
• Provide training and support to junior scientists and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Policy or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental science or a related field
