Cyber Defense Forensics Analyst

Job Description

The Cyber Defense Forensics Analyst is responsible for identifying and responding to cyber threats, conducting forensic investigations, and analyzing security incidents to effectively protect the organization against potential cyber threats. This role is vital in safeguarding our clients' digital footprints.

Responsibilities

• Investigate incidents by conducting digital forensic analyses.
• Provide insights and recommendations on security posture and improvements.
• Engage in threat hunting activities to preemptively identify potential threats.
• Participate in incident response drills and tabletop exercises.
• Assist in the development of security awareness training programs for employees.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments.
• Collaborate closely with IT teams to ensure secure system configurations.
• Maintain and update security tools and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or forensics roles

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of cloud security and DevSecOps practices
• Experience with regulatory compliance such as PCI-DSS and HIPAA

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking

Certifications

• Certifications like CompTIA Security+

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
