Job Description

As a Chemical Technician in the Rayon Testing team, you will be at the forefront of ensuring quality in rayon fabric production. Your role focuses on conducting thorough tests and analyses to maintain compliance with stringent industry standards. You will work with advanced testing equipment, collaborate with various departments, and help troubleshoot any quality-related concerns.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine quality control tests on rayon fabric production.
  • Evaluate physical and chemical properties of fabric samples.
  • Maintain calibration standards of testing instruments.
  • Investigate and report non-compliance findings.
  • Prepare detailed reports on test outcomes and findings.
  • Engage in cross-department collaboration to uphold quality standards.
  • Diagnose and solve issues with testing apparatus.
  • Ensure a clean and safe laboratory/testing space.
  • Research and implement latest textile testing methodologies.
  • Contribute to team meetings and training sessions.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in textile testing or related field preferred
Experience
  • Previous experience in fabric quality testing is preferred
