Job Description

As a Childcare Worker, you will be responsible for providing direct care and supervision to children in an institutional setting. This role requires a compassionate and patient approach, ensuring the well-being and safety of all children under your care.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise children's activities and ensure they engage in constructive play.
  • Assist in developing and implementing educational programs.
  • Support children with special needs with appropriate interventions.
  • Facilitate communication between children and their families.
  • Monitor and report on individual children's development and behaviour.
  • Maintain a positive, caring, and growth-oriented environment.
  • Engage with children in a respectful and culturally sensitive manner.
  • Ensure all safety protocols and policies are strictly followed.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
Experience
  • Experience in child protection and mandatory reporting.
