Job Description

The Police Inspector is responsible for leading a team of police officers to uphold law and order in the community. This role involves implementing crime prevention strategies, investigating serious offences, and ensuring compliance with legal standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily police operations in the designated area.
  • Engage in proactive community policing initiatives.
  • Conduct regular audits of police activity for performance improvement.
  • Ensure officers are equipped with the necessary resources for effective policing.
  • Train and mentor junior officers to uphold departmental standards.
  • Prepare detailed reports for senior management on crime trends and department performance.
  • Coordinate with external agencies for joint operational activities.
  • Manage public relations and represent the police department at community events.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Law Enforcement or Public Administration is preferred
  • Completion of law enforcement leadership training
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in law enforcement, including supervisory experience.
