Job Description

Join our dedicated team as an Interventionist, where you will play a pivotal role in providing therapeutic services to individuals facing addiction and trauma. Your expertise in creating collaborative treatment plans will be instrumental in guiding clients towards recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive client assessments to identify therapeutic needs.
  • Work with a team of professionals to create customized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions effectively.
  • Provide continuous support and therapy to clients through their recovery process.
  • Document client progress accurately and monitor treatment outcomes.
  • Engage in regular case discussions in multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • Pursue ongoing training to stay informed of best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical and professional standards.
  • Offer guidance and support to clients' families.
  • Integrate local community services into treatment plans for enhanced support.

Requirements

Education
  • Registration with a relevant professional body (e.g. AHPRA)
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in mental health settings.
