Job Description

The Pulley Maintainer plays a vital role in maintaining the operational efficiency of machinery within our manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be tasked with ensuring that all pulleys are properly installed and maintained, contributing to a seamless production process.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of pulley systems and associated machinery.
• Perform repairs or replacements on pulley systems as required.
• Determine the root cause of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain safety protocols while performing maintenance tasks.
• Assist with training for operational staff regarding pulley upkeep.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project updates and safety concerns.
• Implement effective preventive maintenance strategies.
• Utilize various tools and technologies to enhance maintenance efficiency.
• Support the maintenance manager in resource allocation and planning.
• Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Trade qualification in mechanical engineering or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in pulley maintenance and repair

Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with pulley maintenance and repair
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and machinery
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and other engineering tools
• Proficient with hand and power tools

Soft Skills

• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Attention to detail

Certifications

• Certified Pulley Maintainer
• Additional technical certifications are a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with conveyor and elevator systems: Prior work on conveyor and elevator pulley systems is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols: Understanding of workplace safety standards in the manufacturing environment.
