As a Subway and Streetcar Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transport of passengers along designated routes. You'll provide exceptional customer service and maintain high safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive trains safely, adhering to speed limits and safety protocols.
• Respond to emergencies effectively while ensuring passenger safety.
• Manage cash handling for tickets and provide change accurately.
• Assist in training new operators and providing guidance as needed.
• Complete necessary documentation related to journey reports and incidents.

Requirements

Education

• Completion of a training program for light rail operators

Experience

• 1+ years customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of traffic regulations
• Cash handling experience

Soft Skills

• Calm under pressure
• Time management

Advantageous

• Technical or mechanical aptitude: Ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues is beneficial.
• Experience working with diverse communities: Previous experience in multicultural environments is a plus.
