We are seeking a Brownfield Redevelopment Coordinator to lead the remediation and redevelopment efforts for brownfield sites. Your expertise will help ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote sustainable practices in the community.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with environmental engineers, geologists, and ecologists on various projects.
• Facilitate community engagement efforts related to project updates and environmental impacts.
• Document project activities and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior team members.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline preferred

Experience

• 5+ years experience in environmental consulting, focusing on brownfield redevelopment

Technical Skills

• Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)
• Contaminated Land Management

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Team Collaboration

Certifications

• Certified Environmental Professional (CEP)
• OSHA Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in public engagement and consultation processes: Ability to effectively communicate with the public regarding environmental projects.
• Knowledge of site remediation technologies: Familiarity with various technologies used in site remediation.
